Solution​

The automated beverage production line consists of various machines for different processes, such as fruit cleaning, crushing, filling, and packaging. The IG902 edge computing gateway collects operational and efficiency data from these machines using industrial protocols like Profinet, with features such as SMS alarms to enhance monitoring and responsiveness.

Industrial robots handle tasks like fruit sorting, bottle filling, packaging, and stacking. The gateway tracks their real-time operational status, health, and efficiency improvements using OPC UA protocols, with support for data uploading resumption after breakpoints and secure local data storage.

The conveyer system moves materials and bottled beverages through different production stages. The gateway acquires data on conveyor operations via EtherNET/IP protocols, including IO alarms for real-time fault detection.

The IG902 also supports power consumption analysis, collecting data from various production facilities using Modbus protocols. Through pre-processing and data cleaning, it enables actionable insights to optimize energy use during automated production.
